> Reference for Security > Domains: the columns and reporting statuses, the Add domain sheet, Script tag or Agentic crawler, and who can add or remove domains.

**Security > Domains** lists every domain the team monitors, with how each one is monitored, whether it is reporting, and its scripts, open alerts and page views. Super admins and Admins of the team add domains with **Add domain** and remove them from a row's menu. Everyone in the team can see the list. To install the tag on a new domain, [follow the install guide →](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/install/).

## What does the list show?

The heading counts the team's domains. Above the list:

- a search field, "Search N domains", that matches the domain name,
- **Payment domains only**, with a count, to show only domains that have payment page selectors.

The **Monitored domains** card shows the number of domains and the distinct scripts seen across them in the top bar's date range. A script on several domains counts once.

| Column | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| Domain | The domain, a **Payment page** badge if it has payment page selectors, the date it was added, and how it is monitored: **Script tag** or **Agentic crawler**. |
| Reporting | Whether the domain is sending data (see below). |
| Scripts | Distinct scripts seen on the domain in the date range. |
| Open alerts | Open alerts for the domain in the date range. Click the number to open them in [Alerts](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/alerts/). |
| Page views 30d | Page views from the domain in the last 30 days. |

A dash means the number could not be read. **Retry statistics** under the list reads them again.

## What do the reporting statuses mean?

| Status | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| Receiving | The tag's streams have data. |
| Not receiving | A stream has had no data for 6 or more full hours. Click it to open the domain's [Diagnostics](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/diagnostics/). |
| Not receiving, "No reading from the script tag yet" | No report has arrived from the tag. Check the [install](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/verify/). |
| Not receiving, "Agentic crawler only, no live stream" | The domain is crawled on a schedule, so it has no live stream. |
| Suspended | Monitoring is suspended for the domain. |
| Unavailable | The status could not be read just now. |

## What is in a row's actions?

- **Focus** scopes the dashboard to this domain, the same as picking it in the top bar.
- **Settings** (Agentic crawler domains only) opens the crawler settings.
- The **⋯** menu has **Crawl now**, which queues a crawl right away instead of waiting for the next scheduled one (one manual crawl a minute per domain), and **Remove domain**.

**Remove domain** asks you to confirm. It stops all monitoring for the domain and cannot be undone.

## What is in the Add domain sheet?

![The Add domain sheet: enter the domain and choose how to monitor it, with the Script tag (every page reports from real visitors) or the Agentic crawler.](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/screenshots/add-domain-sheet-light.webp)

- **Domain**: paste a URL or type a hostname, like `beverage.ltd`. The sheet checks the domain as you type.
- **How should we monitor this domain?**: **Script tag** (every page reports from real visitors' browsers) or **Agentic crawler** (scheduled crawls, nothing to install). The Agentic crawler is included in Pro and Enterprise.
- **Advanced**: **Wildcard domain** covers every subdomain. It is not available for a subdomain or a domain on the Public Suffix List.

**Next** lets you name subdomains you want to refer to in the dashboard, then **Add domain** adds it. The last step links to **Install the script tag** for a Script tag domain, or to **Crawler settings** for an Agentic crawler domain.

**Bulk import** adds several domains from a CSV file (up to 5 MB) with the columns `domain`, `type`, `subdomains` and `wildcard`:

```csv
domain,type,subdomains,wildcard
example.com,script-mode,www:shop:a.b.c,true
www.beverage.ltd,scan-mode,api,false
```

`domain` and `type` are required. `type` is `script-mode`, or `scan-mode` for the Agentic crawler (Pro and Enterprise). Subdomains are separated by colons, and `wildcard` is `true` or `false`. You can also register domains from your backend with the [REST API](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/api/domains/create/).

## Who can add and remove domains?

Super admins, and Admins of the team. Viewers see the list without **Add domain** or **Remove domain**.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the difference between Script tag and Agentic crawler?

With **Script tag**, every page reports from real visitors' browsers as scripts run. With **Agentic crawler**, Script Monitoring crawls your site on a schedule and records the scripts it loads. Nothing to install, but it can miss scripts that only target real visitors. The Agentic crawler is included in Pro and Enterprise.

### Why does a domain say "Not receiving"?

For a Script tag domain, either no report has arrived from the tag yet, or a stream has had no data for 6 or more full hours. Click the badge to open the domain's [Diagnostics](https://docs.scriptmonitoring.com/diagnostics/). An Agentic crawler domain always reads "Not receiving" because it has no live stream.

### What does a wildcard domain cover?

Every subdomain of the domain. You can't wildcard a subdomain, or a domain on the Public Suffix List.

### Can I undo removing a domain?

No. Removing a domain stops all monitoring for it and cannot be undone. Add it again to resume monitoring.
